The headmaster of Al-Manar Private School, Mona Nasser Al-Din, said that the school dealt with technical and administrative cadres in accordance with the Human Resources and Emiratisation Law, noting the choice of its employees between obtaining an open leave, without salary, for a period of four months, or ending their services, or resigning to give them an opportunity to search About another job.

She added that the school reduced the salaries of the activities teachers in the first cycle, due to the reduction of the number of classes, and the transfer to the "distance learning" system. The discount rate ranged between 50% and 70%.

She explained that «the time for each class in the (distance learning) system does not exceed half an hour, and therefore the school has reduced the number of cadres according to the time of classes.

The head of the modern Ras Al Khaimah School, Muhammad Al Aqraa said, "The school reduced the salaries of everyone who has no role in (distance learning) from educational cadres, including the assistant teacher, the safety and security specialist, and sports activities teachers."

He added that the rate of reduction in salaries was 70%.
