The number of injuries accelerated in several Arab countries, and records were recorded in the number of deaths in the United States, and the governor of New York said that the city is living the darkest days, as well as European countries; most notably Spain and Italy, along with Britain.

The number of new infections with the Corona virus in a number of Arab countries exceeded the barrier of 100, prompting the World Health Organization to invite Middle Eastern governments to move quickly to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

The Regional Director of the WHO for the Eastern Mediterranean, Ahmed Al-Manzari, said that new cases have been recorded in some of the countries most at risk and have weak health systems.

In Egypt, the Ministry of Health recorded 120 people infected and eight deaths from the Coronavirus.

The UAE Ministry of Health announced the registration of 240 new injuries, bringing the total to 1264, and announced the registration of one death, bringing the total to nine deaths.

In Qatar, the Ministry of Health announced that the number of injuries had increased to 1055, and the number of recovery cases was more than ninety.

In Kuwait, the Ministry of Health confirmed that 75 new cases of coronavirus were registered, for a total of 415.

In Saudi Arabia, the health authorities announced that 155 new cases of corona were recorded and the number of injuries rose to 2040.

In the Sultanate of Oman, 21 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number to 252, one death, while in Bahrain 29 new cases were recorded, bringing the total number of cases to more than 670.

In Algeria, injuries rose to more than 1170, 105 deaths, compared to 760 new cases in Morocco and 47 deaths, and the number of people recovered increased to 49 people.

In Lebanon, the number of injured rose to 508, including 17 deaths, while 46 recovered.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of ten new injuries, bringing the total to 191.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas decided to extend the state of emergency for thirty days, to fully manage the affairs of the country, and said that trapping the virus takes place in the narrowest range, and depends on the extent of citizens' commitment to safety measures.

In Jordan, 310 injuries were recorded, five deaths, and nearly 60 cases of recovery.

On Friday, the Jordanian government imposed a comprehensive and strict curfew in the capital, Amman, and the whole country for 24 hours, in the context of confronting the Corona virus.

Internationally
At the international level, the number of injured in Italy increased to 120 thousand, after recording more than four thousand new injuries, while the total deaths increased to about 15 thousand.

In Britain, the total number of injuries rose to 38 thousand, and deaths to 3605 deaths, while more than nine hundred deaths were announced in Spain within 24 hours for the second day in a row, taking the number of deaths to about 11 thousand.

In the Netherlands, injuries exceeded 15,000, the number of deaths approached 1,500, the number of injuries in Sweden reached 6,000, and deaths exceeded 330.

But Germany has seen a slowdown in the spread of the virus, and containment measures are beginning to pay off, according to health authorities who stress the need to keep it.

In the United States - which tops the list of countries in the world in terms of infections - Johns Hopkins University counted 1169 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to more than 6070, while the number of infections rose to more than 245 thousand and 500.

New York Governor Andrew Como reported 562 new deaths from Corona virus in the state alone, the highest number of deaths in a single day, bringing the total number to 2935, the largest number among US states.

Como - who confirmed that his state had lived through its darkest days in the battle against the Corona virus - said the number of deaths would continue to rise due to a lack of respirators and the number of hospital beds.

In Israel, the Ministry of Health announced that it had registered 193 new cases of Coronavirus, which brings the total number of infections to 7,300, including 37 deaths.

In turn, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced 134 new deaths due to the virus, while Spain announced 932 new deaths.
