Most Moscow taxi drivers incur losses, says trade union chairman Nikolai Kodolov.

“If earlier an economy class car for 12 hours brought in income (after deducting interest from the aggregator) 5.5–6 thousand rubles, now now it is an average of 3-4 thousand rubles,” he told RT.

As noted by Kodolov, part of the drivers "sat down for self-isolation, part continues to work - with the risk of infection."

Earlier, the State Duma appreciated the idea of introducing tax holidays for taxi drivers due to a decrease in passenger traffic.
