Four of the twelve people have been confirmed to be infected. But now no more testing. The focus is on providing the affected care. When it comes to elderly, frail people with several underlying illnesses that pose a particular risk, it is usually given care to the elderly.

- It must not go that way, says Katarina Isaksson.

She believes that those who are infected should receive hospital care, and are assessed by infectious doctors.

- If they are in hospital they will receive adequate care, it can be very urgent if someone gets breathing problems.

During SVT West's interview with Katarina, her phone rings. It is the resident's doctor who announces that her 91-year-old mother has a fever and cough. He fears it is corona.

- She would be more confused and more stressed at the hospital, so I really recommend that she give her good care at the accommodation, says Bernd Sengpiel, responsible physician and specialist in general medicine, in the telephone conversation.

He says that, just as usual, assessments are made on a case-by-case basis, and believes that older, fragile people in housing affected by the corona virus risk anxiety and increased suffering if they are rushed to hospital.

- It feels very heavy and would like to save all my patients. I know them personally and now I see them die. But the hospital can't help them, says Bernd Sengpiel.

At present, Katarina's mother has relatively mild symptoms, and not so high a fever.

- I hope it is a mild variant of the virus, says Katarina Isaksson.
