Eva Tartière, 12, set up her own Facebook television news with her sister in an attempt to alert the difficulties of cheese producers in Auvergne, including their mother, who has seen sales fall since the confinement and closure part of the open markets.

The idea is ingenious. A schoolgirl has put up a television news on Facebook in the hope of helping cheese producers in Auvergne and alerting them to the consequences of the coronavirus crisis. The confinement and the closure of three-quarters of the open markets are, in fact, a heavy blow for these producers across France and in particular in Cournols near Clermont-Ferrand in Puy-de-Dôme where Eva Tartière, 12 years old lives with his mother, producer of Saint-Nectaire who saw his sales fall since the precautionary measures instituted by the government.

Forty orders in a few days

Eva is however very shy in normal times. It was with her big sister that they came up with this idea, noticing their mom's difficulties in selling her cheese since the markets closed. "We had to bounce back, we had to show that working so as not to be able to sell is complicated," says the teenager.
