The sad daily count continues. During his daily press briefing, Friday April 3, the Director General of Health, Jérôme Salomon, announced that 588 people had died in hospital because of the Covid-19 in France. In addition, at least 1,416 deaths in nursing homes and other health establishments have been recorded since the start of the pandemic, bringing the total number of victims to 6,507 deaths.

A little earlier, the Minister of the Interior, Christophe Castaner called for not releasing the confinement despite the start of the spring holidays in certain regions of France.
