Zakharova pointed out that, citing dubious sources, the publication “publicly announced the allegedly sequestered cargo of Russia and completely provided incorrect information.”
Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Italy sent a protest to La Stampa newspaper in connection with material about the uselessness of Russian assistance in the fight against COVID-19 for the republic.
In an article by La Stampa, an unnamed source rated 80% of Russia's aid to Italy as “completely useless or of little use” for the republic.
