“All hospitalized patients with pneumonia should be examined for the presence of coronavirus infection, including laboratory tests using test systems,” the ministry’s press service said in a statement.
The Ministry of Health added that the data on patients with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus and persons hospitalized with signs of pneumonia, as well as on contacts with them, are entered into the Accounting Information System integrated into the EHISP.
“Thus, the possibility of distorting the incidence statistics is practically excluded,” the ministry emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Health launched an accounting information system to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
