"Visitors to the Internet portal will be able to familiarize themselves with unique previously unknown archival documents - combat reports from the fronts, ciphergrams, political reports, award sheets and photo materials," the military department website said in a statement.

It is clarified that the liberation of Bratislava from the Nazi invaders by the troops of the 2nd Ukrainian Front began in April 1945.

In February, the Russian Ministry of Defense published declassified documents on the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Budapest from Nazi occupation.
