A man was wanted Thursday in Isère after the discovery the previous evening of the mutilated body of an octogenarian in his pavilion in Gières, near Grenoble, we learned from concordant sources.

The victim, an 80-year-old man, was found broken open, an arrow in the head, Wednesday evening at his home by his family, who gave the alert around 11 pm. "The facts took place earlier in the evening," said the same source.

The main suspect, whose identity has not been released, is believed to be a close relative of the victim. He was still on the run Thursday morning and actively sought by the police. An investigation, entrusted by the Grenoble prosecutor's office to the judicial police, was opened.
