In Israel, Mossad chief Yossi Cohen and Moshe Bar Simantov, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, have been quarantined after it was found that they were in contact with Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, who announced that he and his wife were infected with the Corona virus.

Al-Jazeera correspondent Elias Karam stated that the Israeli Ministry of Health has launched a broad epidemiological investigation to identify the people and places where Litzman was present, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was informed of this information, especially since he was in contact with Litzman because of their management of the Corona pandemic.

The minister reckoned Tatesman - who has yet to know where and when he was injured - on the trend of Western Jews who are described as ultra-Orthodox. Netanyahu had just ended a voluntary quarantine yesterday, after his counselor was found to be infected with the virus.

On Thursday, Netanyahu's office said it would return to self-isolation for another six days after tests showed the health minister had contracted the Corona virus.

And Netanyahu (70 years) - the longest-serving prime minister of Israel - came out yesterday evening, Wednesday, from a two-day isolation period after a parliamentary aid contracted the disease.

A statement issued by Litzman's office said that the minister and his wife are in good health, and will enter the quarantine at home, according to the Ministry of Health guidelines.

He added that Litzman would continue to work regularly from his home, in line with medical recommendations.

The IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi also continues to remain in quarantine in his office at the Ministry of Defense, as well as commanders of the Operations Division and the Home Front, after they meet an HIV-positive officer.

These developments coincided with the announcement by the Israeli Ministry of Health, on Thursday, that the death toll from the Coronavirus has risen to 32. On Thursday, the Israel Broadcasting Corporation said that 6 deaths had been recorded since early Thursday.

On Thursday, the Israeli Ministry of Health announced that the total number of injuries had reached 6,211, of whom 107 were in severe health condition.
