The confinement caused the cessation of all, or almost all, cultural or sporting activity outside. Cinema, opera, sports halls, football clubs ... Some annual subscriptions may however be frozen or offer solutions. Europe 1 takes stock with you and suggests ways to not get bored.

Because of the confinement, many people regret having taken a cultural or sports subscription for the year. But perhaps not all is lost for you and your wallet. In the cinema for example, if you have a Pathé-Gaumont or UGC subscription, the monthly withdrawals are frozen for the month of April and until the end of confinement. And to counter boredom, some rooms offer online screenings, like the Luminor in Paris. You just have to buy your tickets online and the desired film will be broadcast online at a specific time.

Regarding sports halls, everything depends on the channels. Club Med Gym is the only one to have automatically suspended direct debits from its customers. At Magic Form, this is a possible option, but you have to ask for it.

Most of the other rooms like Neoness or the Circles of Fitness continue to charge their customers every month and just offer to extend the subscription when it expires. Another possibility is to offer free weeks to a loved one.
