The Spanish authorities announced the registration of 950 new deaths from the emerging coronavirus "Covid-19" during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of epidemic victims in the country to ten thousand, in a new record jump.
The Spanish Ministry of Health confirmed today, Thursday, that the death toll from Corona rose since yesterday from 9053 to 10003, which is the largest increase in the death toll from the epidemic since the start of the virus in the country.
The Ministry of Health also recorded, during the last 24 hours, more than 8,000 new infections, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country from 102,136 to 110,238 cases.
More than 6000 injured people still receive intensive care in Spanish hospitals, while the number of people recovering reached 73.5 thousand people.
And Spain reduced this to almost zero, the difference in the number of Corona injuries between it and Italy, which ranks second after the United States in the list of the largest corona foci in the world, and recorded so far 110.4 thousand injuries.
