Dramatic traffic accident Tuesday afternoon in Bayonne in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. A car ended its journey in the Adour in the city center. The lifeless bodies of two men aged 44 and 65 were found in the river that crosses the city in the evening.

The driver lost control of his car on the Saint-Frédéric bridge, reports Sud Ouest. He struck the railing before the vehicle fell into the water. Despite the rapid intervention and the number of rescue workers, the two victims could not be resuscitated. The investigation should determine with precision the circumstances of this fatal accident.
