The Secretariat of the Asir region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched an initiative to distribute sterilizers and tools to prevent the Corona virus free of charge to workers in government departments, civil institutions, charitable societies and orphanages, as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of the virus and take precautionary measures to reduce the transmission of infection between members of society .

The governor of Asir region, Dr. Walid Al-Hamidi confirmed that the initiative comes in implementation of the directives of Prince Turki bin Talal, the governor of the Asir region, and they sensed the need for solidarity and work to limit the spread of the virus, and a belief in the importance of community participation to prevent it and raise the level of awareness of sterilization of hands and adherence to medical guidelines, indicating that the secretariat It works to increase the production capacity of sterilizers distribution during the coming days to ensure that it reaches the largest possible segment in line with the production capacity of its laboratories.

Al-Humaidi pointed out that sterilizers manufactured by Al-Amana Laboratories were taken into consideration in conformity with the specifications of the Food and Drug General Authority, noting that more than 300 packages with a capacity of 350 milliliters were distributed on the first initiative day, stressing to double efforts to raise production capacity during the coming days.
