According to Chamber Prosecutor Jenny Alriksson, it is good that the legislation on commercial laundering offenses is taken up by the district court.
- I think it is good, because it is a crime that has not been tried very much and they have come to different lengths of imprisonment. It is interesting for us to go through and see if it should be tried higher up and then get a practice on the penalty value, she says.
Whether the judgment will be appealed, neither Jenny Alriksson nor Anna Karin Bergström currently want to take a definitive position.
