Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga expressed his perception that he was "holding aside" as to whether or not to declare an emergency following the spread of Corona 19.
A spokesman for the Japanese government, Suga, at a regular news conference today (1st) said to the question regarding the emergency declaration, "It is a very important time to avoid the rapid spread of infection in Korea."
He said there was no change in the perception that it was not yet a situation to declare an emergency based on the Special Measures Act.
Earlier in Japan, a special action law passed to the National Assembly on the 13th of last month to allow the Prime Minister to declare an emergency in response to the spread of Corona 19.
