According to the website of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, on March 31, social networks reported that in the Stavropol Territory it was allegedly possible to purchase "miracle vitamins" from coronavirus infection.
“At present, an inspection is being carried out by the officers of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Stavropol. The police are implementing a set of operational measures aimed at identifying citizens who disseminate these ads, ”the report said.
Law enforcement officials urged residents of the region to be vigilant and to verify the information received.
Earlier it was reported that criminals across Russia began to use new fraud schemes related to citizens' fears because of the spread of COVID-19.
