It was a witness to the scene who alerted the police. Tuesday morning, two people were arrested by the police in downtown Nantes after having been seen shelling an ambulance. The two men, who had meanwhile got on the tram in the direction of Pirmil, were arrested in the train, near the Chaussée de la Madeleine, shortly after 10:30 a.m. They were remanded in custody.

According to the police, these individuals, aged 23 and 49, admitted that they "threw stones". In particular, a projectile was found on one of them. On the other hand, neither of them was in possession of the famous certificate necessary to be able to leave home.

Already verbalized several times

The youngest, having already been fined three times in recent days, suspected of being the "perpetrator of violence with a weapon on the ambulance", is to be referred this Wednesday. The other man, who had previously violated the containment rules twice, is summoned to the police court in June.
