In a press release, Destination Gotland now presents additional measures that will apply from today 1 April.

The traffic will now be concentrated to the "basic traffic". This means that most days there will be two daily departures. One from Nynäshamn and one from Oskarshamn.

In addition, the bookable seats on board are limited to ensure a greater distance between passengers. This means that less than half of the passenger capacity will be available for all departures. The decision is valid for the time being.

- Our first priority is to secure supply traffic in the long term. We are socially critical infrastructure. I am convinced that there is an understanding of the necessity of the decisions, and I want to thank all the customers who take responsibility during these times, says Christer Bruzelius, CEO of Destination Gotland AB in the press release.

In addition, the most popular departures in Easter are locked for new bookings.

- Our clear message now is "Stay home at Easter". Now we protect healthcare and secure the necessary supply traffic. Our beautiful Gotland remains for a trip further in the future, says Christer Bruzelius, CEO of Destination Gotland in a press release.t
