The Covid-19 pandemic affects the entire community - and so does the police. Now, the police have two active preliminary investigations in the Eastern Police region where people have coughed up other people and said they have corona.

- So far it is not very common. But we have a number of cases in the region. Therefore, we now went out on social media to try to increase understanding, says Kristian Malzoff, operations manager.

"There is great concern"

According to him, it is mainly younger people who have coughed up others, but it also happens that older people do so.

- There is a great concern that affects the entire society. Health care is making a heavy effort right now, and to consciously walk around and cough at others and deliberately make fun of it hear the unease does not feel good at all, says Kristian Malzoff.

According to the police, it may be a crime. If you consciously add another person to illness, you can be suspected of being beaten. If this occurs through negligence, it can be about causing bodily harm or causing danger to another. According to the police, however, the most likely heading is unsuccessful.
