Coronavirus: Around the world in confined cities - 20 Minutes

On Monday, in Russia, Moscow officially started its first day of confinement. In France, the measure was extended until April 15 (at least) in order to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. In the United Kingdom, the British are invited to stay at home for at least three weeks in order to stem the coronavirus crisis. The London Bridge is deserted. In Ireland, in Dublin, pubs are now closed. In the rest of Europe, Italy, Spain and Greece apply containment measures.

In India, 1.3 billion people are already called to stay at home. As in Argentina, Colombia or South Africa. In the United States, New York and the cities of California are deserted. A little tour of the world of cities confined to images.
