All ski resorts in Dalarna except Stöten i Sälen have now announced that they will close for the season before the start of the Easter holiday.

Our reporter in Sälen, Patrik Qvicker, talks about the reactions to Skistar's unexpected closure decision that came during Tuesday night.

- For the public, it's a relief. There have been name collections for the facilities to be closed and there has been a concern about the burden on the health care when there would be 25-30 thousand visitors to an area where there are 1,500 permanent residents. Among the ski resorts over the law, it is a big surprise because Skistar claimed throughout the day yesterday that they would have open, but at a rapid pace, several have now followed them, says Patrik Qvicker.
