  • Many announcements are published in connection with the coronavirus health crisis.
  • On the site of the "right corner", nearly 8,000 were online on Tuesday.
  • There is everything, from the most united to the most unusual.

Each notable event has its share of classified ads on the very famous website Le bon coin. The global coronavirus health crisis is no exception. Between solidarity, opportunistic business, humor and unusual things, there is a little to take and a lot to leave. 20 Minutes made a subjective and not exhaustive selection.

By launching a search across France, successively with the keywords "coronavirus" and "Covid-19", nearly 8,000 classified ads appear on our screen. Among them, many only mention the health crisis as an excuse for impediments or delays in delivery. But, once the sorting done, first good surprise, no advertisement offers for sale the famous protective masks that are so lacking in caregivers.

Services often free, sometimes paid

What we find most often are proposals for the provision of services. The offers of free help are legion, like Mika, in Charente-Maritime, who opens her door “to anyone who needs to eat, take a shower, find accommodation, in short, anyone who needs help. There is also Gil, in Haute-Garonne, who volunteers to run errands, take care of animals or do DIY. Or Lamine, in Paris, which offers its services in several districts.

And as the schools are closed, we also see many announcements of tutoring or private lessons. Most are made by students who ask for a financial contribution, generally between 10 and 20 euros per hour.

More opportunistic, professionals cash in on their highly targeted advice. A

Pau service provider asks for example 30 euros to complete the "formalities related to the coronavirus" such as the "request for assistance of € 1,500." Another surfs on the cyclical craze for teleworking by offering distance learning at 400 euros.

Plethora of companies, often specialized in rodent control or pest control, ensure that they are able to rid commercial premises or homes of all traces of coronavirus. Services whose prices are never announced but which will be established on estimate.

Sometimes useful, sometimes confusing objects

Under the keyword "coronavirus", there are objects as numerous as they are heterogeneous. From “erasable slate with felt to keep your children occupied during confinement”, sold for three euros by a Marseillaise, to the self-loading silage loader at 25,000 euros, “ideal for making your silages alone during confinement”, sold by a farmer from Haute-Savoie.

The postponement due to the pandemic of the Tokyo Olympic Games, scheduled for 2020, is a boon for another Marseillais. He had obtained two of the 100,000 commemorative silver coins produced by the Japanese currency. Each was sold for just under 10,000 yen (84 euros). The seller intends to draw a minimum of one thousand euros for both.

Finally, for those who fear a food shortage, a resident of La Réunion sells a “Pig for covid meat supply19. "However, he wants to warn that the animal has a hernia which, according to him," does not change the taste of the meat. "If the asking price is 250 euros, we do not know how much the pig weighs.
