“The passengers of the Costa Luminosa cruise ship are in quarantine until April 7th of this year. They are accommodated in one of the Roman hotels, are provided with food and everything necessary. There were no cases of infection among them, ”the diplomatic mission said.
At the same time, two cases of coronavirus infection among citizens of other countries were registered on board the Costa Victoria liner. The Russians from this ship remain on board in the port of Civitavecchia, where they are also provided with everything necessary.
It is noted that the embassy is in coordination with the Italian and Russian aviation authorities organizing a special export flight to send citizens to their homeland.
“Unfortunately, in this situation, this process requires more time. We urge everyone to be patient and understanding, ”the embassy said.
