The Chukotka Autonomous Okrug became the leader in the salary of doctors. There, in 2019, wages amounted to 191.4 thousand rubles. In second place is the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug with a salary of 186.1 thousand rubles. In the Sakhalin Region, doctors receive 167.4 thousand rubles, in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug - 167.1 thousand rubles. The five leaders closes the Magadan region with a salary of 155.5 thousand rubles.

The lowest salaries for doctors in 2019 were recorded in Ingushetia (44.6 thousand rubles) and in Kabardino-Balkaria (45.1 thousand rubles). In North Ossetia, the work of doctors was estimated at an average of 45.3 thousand rubles, in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic - at 45.8 thousand rubles. In Kalmykia, doctors received 46.6 thousand rubles.

In December 2019, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova explained that the salaries of doctors are set both at the subject level and at the level of the head of the medical organization.
