Within just a few weeks, the region hopes that the new check-in service will be introduced, all to reduce the risk of infection spreading inside the hospital walls.

- The bill is then sent home, so patients will not have to queue in the central hall, says Tommy Svensson.

The transformation to a digital check-in will be done as soon as possible and until then, the hospital will be provided with some kind of staff that directs patients correctly, so that as few people as possible are forced to stay in the central hall.

Sparrows with people reduce the spread of infection of all diseases. Covid-19 has meant that cars that drive the sick are cleaned up more carefully and chairs in the central hall are worn out.

The cost of the digital check-in system is not clear.
