President Moon Jae-in presided over the 3rd emergency economic conference today (30th) and said that he will pay emergency disaster support for 1 million won per household to the bottom 70% of households including the middle class.

[President Moon Jae-in: All citizens suffered from Corona 19, and all citizens participated in the quarantine. All citizens are entitled to compensation for suffering and hard work.]

President Moon explained that it was not an easy decision, and he decided to pay selectively to prepare for the economic shock and maximize the financial resources.

[President Moon Jae-in: I would like those who are more economically endurable to understand and give way to those with less income.]

In order to expedite emergency funding, most of the financial resources were prepared through government budget expenditure restructuring, and the second supplementary inevitable was inevitable.

We have also formulated additional measures for the vulnerable.

We decided to defer or reduce the payment of the four major premiums and electricity rates for low-income families, small and medium-sized businesses, small business owners, and self-employed people starting this month.

President Moon also said that he expects to significantly increase employment support funds, expand measures to support livelihoods for vulnerable groups, and secure employment, protect livelihoods, and help small business owners recover.
