More than two thousand people were evacuated to Moscow from Egypt

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Cairo Yusup Abakarov.

Abakarov said that Belavia Airlines flight with 134 passengers, including four babies, flew from Sharm el-Sheikh on March 29. Two flights departed from Hurghada - 189 on one, 151 on the second.

The diplomat said that between March 26, 2001 people were evacuated from both cities.

Earlier it became known that 133 thousand citizens returned to Russia from March 20 to 27.

In addition, it was reported that Russia would send three more planes to Egypt to return its citizens.
