The new crisis package means that it will be easier to get a-cash. The requirements for those who are to receive compensation are lowered and the ceiling and basic compensation are increased.
- After all, we have tens of thousands in the labor market that are not part of the a-kassa or not eligible for a-kassa because they have worked too little. They were now given a message that if they now only join an A fund, we should be able to help them, says Karl-Petter Thorwalsson.
He thinks that the measures are sufficient for many to be able to receive a living. He also says that if you join before the end of the month, March is counted as the first month. According to the new measures, you only have to be a member of the unemployment insurance fund for three months in order to be entitled to compensation.

Opposition positive
Parts of the opposition are also positive to the government, the Center Party and the Liberals' new measures.
- This is very welcome. Finally, it is ensured that many of those who have now ended up completely without income can now receive unemployment insurance. My only criticism is that this should be a permanent change, says the Left Party party leader Jonas Sjöstedt.
Moderates' economics-political spokesperson Elisabeth Svantesson is also positive about the crisis package.
