“The most important thing is not to leave the residents of their homes, except in some cases. We ask citizens to remain in self-isolation, ”Kuyvashev wrote on his Instagram page.

He called on citizens to leave the house “only to buy groceries or essentials at a nearby store, visit a pharmacy or doctor, take out the trash, walk the dog.”

At the same time, he noted that on the street or in the store, a distance of at least 1.5 m to other people should be observed.

“I want to emphasize that all services and organizations whose activities are necessary for the normal functioning of our society, our cities and villages continue to work,” he added.

Since March 30, Moscow introduced a home self-isolation regime for all residents of any age. A similar decision was made in respect of the Moscow region.

Later, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the regional governors to work out measures similar to those taken in the capital and the Moscow region.
