Li Tao said that with the gradual restoration of transportation in Wuhan, it is expected that a large number of medical needs will be released in a short period of time, and medical services will face greater pressure. In order to meet the needs of the people for medical treatment, the city identified 66 large and medium-sized hospitals and specialized hospitals to promote the recovery of service functions and to carry out medical treatment of non-new coronary pneumonia patients in an orderly manner. As of the 29th, the city's 66 designated hospitals had 37,225 medical staff and 25,900 beds dedicated to medical services for patients with non-new coronary pneumonia. By April 8, 66 hospitals plan to invest more than 40,000 medical staff and 60,000 beds.

Li Tao said that other general hospitals and specialized hospitals in Wuhan that do not have new coronary pneumonia patients will be restored to non-new coronary pneumonia patients on April 8. The 205 community health service centers and township health centers will all return to normal functions.

In terms of drug security, Li Tao said that the city's 3,589 medical insurance designated pharmacies have been operating normally, and will provide comprehensive drug security to ensure that the types of drugs are complete and sufficient.

According to Wei Li, the director of Wuhan First Hospital, the hospital officially resumed normal medical order on the 24th. At present, it has opened 24 specialist clinics and launched medical interventions such as surgical intervention and hospitalization.
