March 30, 2020 A 118 rescue driver who served at the Potes of Calcinelli, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, died this morning. His name was Giorgio Scrofani, 56 years old. In the past he had also worked at Potes di Fossombrone.

On March 16 he had been hospitalized because he was a positive alcoronavirus. He had been intubated immediately in an emergency for bad bilateral pneumonia. In the last few days the situation has become complicated, leaving him no way out. The 56 year old is the fifth rescuer of 118 to die in Italy after the spread of the Coronavirus. He was admitted to the Pesaro hospital.
