Subject teaching is deployed. According to the deployment, Beijing will carry out online subject teaching in primary and middle schools from April 13. Textbooks for students in Beijing will be distributed before April 13. For students who are not in Beijing, downloading of electronic textbooks will be guided.

The Beijing Municipal Education Commission pointed out that the education and teaching work of the spring semester of 2020 is a whole. The postponement of the start of the semester and the online subject teaching, and the semester will be formed after the official start of primary and secondary schools. As the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control in China improves, the central government requires that the production and living order be resumed under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, and the work of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development be coordinated.

The education and teaching work will be adjusted accordingly. On the basis of consolidating the existing work, the focus will be on the epidemic prevention and control, and the student's home study will be adjusted to enter a new stage that combines epidemic prevention and control with curriculum teaching. Work, promote the implementation of teaching plans, and establish a curriculum teaching mechanism that is compatible with the normalization of epidemic prevention and control. The Beijing Municipal Education Commission will comprehensively consider the subject characteristics and online teaching conditions, and follow the sequence of senior high school and third grade, junior first and second grade, and elementary school grades to launch subject curriculum resources in batches.

Beijing-level curriculum resources will be launched online on cable TV and multiple network platforms for students to request. Municipal curriculum resources take the form of "one lesson, one package", and each lesson contains complete resource content such as lesson plans or instructional design, PPT, lecture resource packs, homework guidance and so on. Districts and schools can directly arrange students to watch and be answered by teachers; they can also be used as demonstration classes for district schools to carry out teaching and research.

In addition to directly selecting municipal-level curriculum resources, districts and schools can develop and use curriculum resources on their own in accordance with a unified teaching plan and according to actual conditions. According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, and under the premise of ensuring safety, teaching materials for students in Beijing will be distributed before April 13. For students who are not in Beijing, downloading of electronic teaching materials will be instructed.

In order to regulate online teaching behaviors, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission put forward normative requirements:

First, strictly control students' online study time. Students can study online for no more than half a day, no less than 25 minutes per lesson in primary school, no more than 35 minutes per lesson in middle school, and guide students to do eye exercises carefully.

Second, there is no requirement to centralize the viewing of the course. Students can arrange the order of online courses they should watch on the day.

Third, repetitive and superimposed learning must not be arranged. Disciplines that select municipal resources should be organized and implemented in accordance with a unified schedule, progress, teachers, and assignments, and students are no longer required to perform overlapping learning of district and school repetitive resources.

Fourth, strictly control the workload. There are no homework assignments for the first and second grades of elementary school. The other grades, in accordance with the principle of reduction and stratification, are appropriately arranged for basic, inquiring and open assignments.

The Beijing Municipal Education Commission emphasized that in the next stage of student home study, schools should pay attention to guiding students to scientifically arrange learning, strengthen peer assistance through study groups and other forms to help students complete learning tasks; pay attention to guiding students to work and rest in a reasonable manner, and to ensure 1 hour of physical education every day Exercise time and adequate sleep time, actively participate in household chores within their ability, and form a good routine and lifestyle.

In addition, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission also specifically stated that the teaching adjustments for this semester will be oriented towards the curriculum standards, highlighting the basic and core knowledge, focusing on subject competence, and ensuring completion of learning tasks, hoping that students and parents will not increase the psychological burden.
