A video clip broadcast by a Saudi channel caused official and popular Moroccan anger, which was linked by local media to Riyadh's position on Rabat in relation to the Gulf crisis and the Western Sahara crisis.

The video - published by Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath Saudi Arabia - showed what he said was a Moroccan woman infected with the Corona virus in quarantine in a hospital crying and starving, and asking doctors for food and water, which was denied by the Moroccan Ministry of Health, stressing that she is not infected with the virus, and was not starved.

The statement of the Ministry of Health stated that the woman was in a state of tension as a result of contact with one of her friends who came to the hospital, where she was examined to make sure of her infection with the virus.

He added that due to her extreme concern, the woman did not leave the emergency, and after her insistence, she was allowed to stay in the hospital, where she was placed in a hall designated for suspicious cases, which is not related to the rooms designated for isolation of confirmed cases. The statement indicated that a lunch was provided to the woman.

According to the Moroccan newspaper, the newspaper, the aforementioned channel showed the video several times in its bulletins around the clock on Sunday, and it remained firm that the woman concerned was infected with Corona virus, and that she was being starved, despite the issuance of an official communication last Saturday night denying all that the channel mentioned.
