The UAE’s ambassador to the French capital, Paris, Ali Al-Ahmad, revealed, “The presence of a number of Emirati doctors working alongside French doctors in Paris hospitals, providing support and treatment for cases infected with Corona virus that is sweeping the world.”

Al-Ahmad said, “These doctors who are present in the French capital are studying for the purpose of obtaining the French board in various medical specialties, and they found that they must stay in Paris, and provide support, aid and assistance to their fellow French doctors in treating the injured in Paris hospitals after the virus has spread.” Pointing out that "this epidemic does not recognize geographical borders, and its danger threatens all human beings, which made Emirati doctors take this position and remain to help their French brothers."

Al Ahmad added, in statements to the program "Khallak At Home" broadcast by Dubai TV, that "this position is always the position of the UAE, which seeks to provide support, assistance and relief to many countries around the world, which facilitates the work of diplomats and ambassadors, and supports them greatly."

In the middle of this March, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation asked citizens in France to leave immediately and quickly return to the Emirates due to the suspension of flights and the closure of border crossings, as part of the preventive measures that are being applied to limit the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid 19) in the world.

It is noteworthy that French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, warned last Saturday that the next two weeks will be the most difficult so far in the war against Corona virus in France, while his government is racing against time to increase the number of beds in the intensive care departments, and to bring protective equipment.
