After almost two weeks of confinement and closure of schools to limit the spread of the coronavirus, the school at home is organizing as best it can. While some students no longer have homework, others say they are genuinely stunned by the workload at home. For parents, it is also difficult to support their child, between teleworking and large families. A heavy atmosphere, which could last longer than expected. "I'm lost"

"It's hot there, I'm lost. I have too many things to do," laments Théo, in the third class. There are two different digital platforms, on which he discovers the tons of homework given by the teachers every day. "Two handouts of German to do, whereas we have two hours with it per week. We only have exercises, two and three pages ", illustrates the college student.

All this without counting the history questionnaires, the work of visual arts which will take at least half a day, mathematics or even French. Even the Latin teacher gives homework during confinement.

"I am teleworking, I have two other children"

For elementary school students, the situation does not seem any easier. Clara, a mother of three, fell out of her chair when she received a timetable from one of the mistresses, which runs from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm, with recess, like at school.

"The teacher of CE2 asks us to reproduce a typical day. From 8.45 am to 9 am it's a little song, the date in English for example. , says Clara. "Already, I am not a mistress. I am teleworking, I have two other children. It is not manageable. At 8:45 am, I do not put my child at the table saying to him 'we are going to do the ritual' "It's impossible. I'm trying to do my homework as best I can, but I'm worried."

She wonders if her children will not have fallen behind pupils whose parents can take care of 100% of the time.

Spring holidays maintained
