After a strong backlash, President Trump immediately spoke.

Instead, local residents were banned from traveling for two weeks.

Governor Cuomo says it will take two to three weeks before the number of patients in New York reaches a peak, and he stressed that solving the problem of ventilator and bed shortage is a top priority.
