Since the king and queen are both over 70, they belong to a risk group and must stay isolated from social contacts. Therefore, all jobs and communications are handled remotely from Stenhammar. The king urges everyone to listen to the advice and guidelines that exist in Sweden.

- And then you should not listen to me in the first place, but to the experts and the authorities. It is those who have the overall information and overview that can make the best assessment, he says in the interview with DN.

"Take advantage of the days at home"

He does not understand that some people find it difficult to follow the advice.

- It may be a little strange when I say it, but there is very much that you can take advantage of to do as you have not before. You can sit down and read a book. You can go in and clean. You can repaint the house. Take advantage of these days when you are at home, simply, the king says.

The children and grandchildren also have no plans to meet in the near future.

- There will be more Easter holidays in the future. It is not that remarkable.

"A global tragedy"

The crisis that now affects Sweden and the world is nothing like he has been through during his many years as head of state.

- It's a global tragedy, a drama without equal. We don't know how it ends, he says.

"We must rethink, live in a different way"

But the King also believes that there is something we humans can learn from going through this crisis.

- We have to learn about, we have to think about and we have to live in a different way. Anyone who has professions with the opportunity to work from home, maybe you should do more of that in the future? It would be great to do it one day a week. Do not take the car, think about the environment. There may be something good for the future. We should live better.
