For residents of Moscow, a self-isolation regime is introduced regardless of their age. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

As stated in the appeal of the mayor, leaving the apartment will be allowed in five cases: for applying for emergency medical care, for traveling to work (in the case of the obligation to attend work), shopping at the nearest store or pharmacy, and also, if necessary, throw out garbage or walk home animals (no further than 100 meters from the house).

In the short term, a special permit will be required to exit the house.

“After technical and organizational measures, it will be possible to leave if there is a special pass issued in the manner established by the Moscow government,” the mayor said.

He added that in the coming week a smart system of monitoring compliance with the home regime and established rules for the movement of citizens will be deployed.

“Gradually, but steadily, we will tighten the controls necessary in this situation,” Sobyanin emphasized.

Subsequently, the operational headquarters for the control and monitoring of the situation with the coronavirus in the capital specified that at the moment there is no special permit for movement in the capital, it will be necessary to present it after the publication of a separate act.

At the same time, it is clarified that the ban does not apply to arrival in Moscow or departure from the city - it is a question of restricting movements in the capital without good reason. In addition, special measures do not apply to transport.

"The decree of Sergei Sobyanin is not provided for restricting the movement of personal and service, special and public vehicles," the Moscow operational headquarters said on the situation with the coronavirus on Telegram.

The restrictions introduced by the mayor in the Kremlin were called justified. This was stated by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

Along with this, he indicated that the regime of the president will remain the same. "No. We are working on a schedule, ”said Peskov, answering a question about the work of the president and administration.

Note that similar Moscow restrictive measures will also be introduced in the suburbs.

Other measures

Sobyanin in his address also paid attention to the issue of social distance and pointed to an acceptable distance between people.

“While in the streets, in shops, on transport and in other public places, citizens are obliged to observe social distance from other people of at least 1.5 meters (social distance). The exception is only taxi rides, ”the mayor said in a statement.

Among other things, the mayor announced support measures for Muscovites who were left without work. We are talking about compensation payments in the amount of 19.5 thousand rubles per month.

It is noted that this payment will be assigned automatically, without statements.

“The measures introduced today are absolutely necessary. But the effectiveness of these measures to restrain the spread of infection depends on the behavior of each of us. Take care of yourself and your neighbors. Please stay home, ”summed up Sobyanin.
