“No curfew was imposed on the territory of the Moscow Region,” RIA Novosti quoted Petrov as saying.
She said that the police "were supposed to inform citizens about the need to comply with the regime of self-isolation."
Petrova added that the leadership of the Moscow Region Ministry of Internal Affairs ordered an audit "against police officers who brought to the citizens information that was not true."
Earlier it was reported that in the Moscow region a self-isolation regime was introduced in connection with the situation with COVID-19.
