British boxing world champion Billy Joe Saunders was forced to apologize on Saturday after a video in which he told men how to hit their wives during housekeeping scenes in confinement.
The 30-year-old WBO middleweight world champion appears in this video giving some advice on how to react if "your good wife comes to you to spit his venom in your face".
Using a punchbag, a sandbag for boxing training, he then describes how to "hit her on the chin" and "knock her out".
Saunders then apologized for "offending women".
"I will never forgive domestic violence and if I saw a man touching a woman, I would crumble it myself," he said on Twitter.
