The Sharjah Municipality and the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department have been keen on issuing some exceptional decisions and taking proactive measures that will ensure the safety of society and keep its members from the risk of spreading Corona virus infection, as it has exempted residents from public parking fees in Ajman for a month and in Sharjah until further notice.

In detail, the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman adopted a package of decisions that support the community, including the suspension of parking fees for a month, which can be extended, after the Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman decided to exempt users of paid parking from the fees until the end of this month.

The Council announced free parking for a month from the date of March 25 and for a month in line with the state’s directives, and in application of preventive and precautionary safety measures to limit the spread of the new Corona virus, the most important of which is to stay away from gatherings, and the obligation not to leave the house unless absolutely necessary.

While Sharjah Municipality decided that public parking in all areas of the city should be free until further notice, in the context of its concern for the safety and health of community members through preventive measures and precautionary measures that it undertakes to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, while inspectors will follow up the positions to monitor all violations such as standing Dual and reservation more than one position.

The municipality called on the members of the community to stand regularly in order to allow everyone to benefit from public parking spaces.
