Accelerated efforts locally and internationally to curb the "Corona"

Countries of the world are accelerating the pace to contain the new Corona pandemic "Covid 19" through taking many preventive measures and precautionary measures, especially in light of the number of people infected by more than half a million people around the world.

The UAE was one of the first countries since the beginning of the crisis to implement a package of precautionary measures backed by a high-efficiency health system with rapid movement to protect society and the safety of its members, most notably the closure of schools and universities, and the application of the "distance education" system and the "remote work" system and others One of the measures and measures aimed at reducing the spread of the virus.

The efforts of all institutions joined forces to play a pivotal role in managing the crisis efficiently and competently. The awareness-raising media campaigns also contributed to urging the public to follow instructions issued by official authorities to unify efforts to contain the repercussions of the virus.

The state did not neglect the support of the national economy and prepared early for that, as the central bank announced a comprehensive economic support plan worth 100 billion dirhams to contain the repercussions of the Corona virus.

On the international level, it contributed to the evacuation of a large number of citizens of brotherly and friendly countries who were stranded in the Chinese province of Hubei, and received them with warm welcome and welcome in the humanitarian city of Abu Dhabi.

The country also supported, through the World Health Organization, medical supplies and equipment for Iran as part of its efforts to contain the "Corona" virus. These supplies included 7.5 tons, which were transported by an Emirates Air Force plane through the International Civil Service in Dubai.

Not only did the UAE provide medical assistance to the affected countries, but it declared its full readiness to cooperate with the World Health Organization to support its efforts to combat the Corona virus and to develop and contain its treatments.
