Prison closed for a double "canicide". According to judicial sources, the 22-year-old man who killed two of his dogs fighting on his balcony on Sunday morning was sentenced to eighteen months in prison, six of which were closed, by the Toulouse Criminal Court.

His shots, which erupted in the strange silence of confinement, caused a wind of panic, avenue Jean-Rieux, in the Guilheméry district. On a stroke of blood, and while his American staff became uncontrollable, the master grabbed a shotgun and killed the dogs. One died instantly, the other from his injuries.

The conviction was pronounced for “cruelty to animals” but also “illegal possession of a category B weapon”, the man being already known for possession of prohibited weapons. He was incarcerated at the Seysses prison, near Toulouse.
