After being restricted to the political and economic spheres, the debate over Corona moved to justice, in the first serious move accusing a certain party of making the virus and turning it into a pandemic threatening humanity.

American lawyer Larry Clayman has filed a lawsuit to fine China $ 20 trillion, accusing Beijing of developing and spreading the Corona virus, which threatens humanity. This amount is much higher than China's $ 12 trillion GDP.

Clayman filed the lawsuit with the North Texas District Court, saying that Corona was a virus made by China as a biological warfare weapon, according to the website published by Freedom Watch, a rights group headed by Clayman.

Lawyer Clayman said that China's manufacture of such biological weapons is a violation of US and international laws and other global treaties and principles.

Experts have yet to resolve the controversy over the fact that corona is a natural development of a virus that only attacked animals at first, or a human component that caused its mutation.

Withholding secrets
The case could be seen in the context of the United States accusing China of withholding information that would help the world confront Corona.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the ruling Chinese Communist Party is depriving the world of the information it needs to prevent further infections of the Coronavirus.

"What worries me is that this blackout and this misinformation in which the Communist Party of China is participating still deprives the world of the information it needs in order for us to prevent new injuries or repeat something like this again."

The US Secretary also accused Iran and Russia of launching disinformation campaigns about the virus.

"The disinformation campaigns are still going on by Russia and Iran as well as by China," he said. "They say he came from the US military and they say that maybe he started in Italy, everything to evade responsibility."

"The time will come for the charges to come," he added, but added that it was important for the world to know what was really happening.

Corona is spreading rapidly in the United States, where it has so far infected nearly 70,000 people and killed more than 1,000 across the country.

And last Tuesday, the World Health Organization said that the United States is a candidate to be the epicenter of the global epidemic, after China was the center, then Europe.

Corona was classified by the World Health Organization as a pandemic, a more widespread and dangerous medical classification than the epidemic.

A global pandemic
Yesterday, Wednesday, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that the Coruna virus threatens all of humanity, during the launch of a global humanitarian response plan that will continue until next December, with a call to receive two billion dollars in aid.

As of Thursday morning, the virus has infected more than 471,000 people worldwide, more than 21,000 of them have died, while more than 114,000 have recovered.

The spread of the virus forced many countries to close their borders, suspend flights, impose a curfew, disrupt the study, cancel several events, prevent public gatherings, and close mosques and churches.
