The Human Resources Department of Ajman Government issued a circular today to all government agencies in the emirate on remote work as of its date in the context of precautionary measures and preventive measures to preserve the safety of employees in line with efforts and measures taken at the national level, aimed at curbing the spread of the new coronavirus. And the circular that came based on the recommendations of the Executive Council at its second session in 2020, stipulated that all government agencies must apply the work remotely with no less than 50% of their employees, and authorized the government agency to reach 100% as it deems appropriate while adhering to what came In the previous circulars on remote work, in a manner that ensures continuity in the provision of works and the preservation of the quality of the services provided.


The circular also referred to the addition of the category of mothers of people of determination who are employees who need the special care and supervision of their children and their treatment within the categories covered by Circular No. (1) for the year 2020 AD regarding the remote work system issued by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council.


The Director General of the Human Resources Department Rashid Abdul Rahman bin Jubran Al-Suwaidi assured that the Ajman government possesses the necessary technical infrastructure to work remotely in a manner that ensures the continuation of providing all services in accordance with the plans established with high efficiency, indicating that all Ajman government employees have sufficient qualification to deal with this urgent circumstance.
