Sharjah’s Planning and Survey Department received 505 electronic transactions on the first “remote work” day that the department implemented for its employees according to the directives of the Sharjah government to implement the remote work system for all employees except for employees whose duties require their presence in their workplace.


Eng. Khalid bin Butti Al-Muhairi, Head of the Department of Planning and Surveying in Sharjah, confirmed that this number of transactions is almost the same as the number of transactions received by the department in normal circumstances, praising the cooperation of auditors from all groups in using electronic and smart services to provide and follow up on transactions.


He also pointed out that the department has taken all necessary measures to ensure the smooth flow of business under the current conditions and has been able to link highly employed employees remotely to their own devices in the department to facilitate dealing with all transactions and complete its procedures and communicate with auditors electronically.


And the value of the efforts of the internal work teams in charge of implementing the electronic linking processes for employees working remotely, stressing the continuation of efforts to ensure the continuity of providing services to the auditors through the electronic circuit platforms represented in the smart application and the application of WhatsApp and the website of the department.
