From day 0, all foreign nationals entering the United States will be self-contained for two weeks.

All immigrants from the United States who have suspected symptoms are quarantined at the airport and subjected to a diagnostic test. Foreigners who have no symptoms or who have arrived for long-term stays are self-contained for 2 weeks. .

Violations of the self-containment guidelines will result in imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million won.

If the government believes that the risk is increasing while continuing to monitor the number of confirmed persons in the United States, it will also consider expanding to diagnostic tests on all immigrants, as in Europe.

Prime Minister Se-Gyun Jeong previously announced that such measures would be urgent to strengthen the immigration process when the number of foreign inflow confirmers surged while hosting a major meeting.
