According to the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK), on the afternoon of the 25th local time, the cruise ship "Diamond Princess" slowly left the port of Yokohama, Japan, which had been parked for nearly 50 days, to a nearby private enterprise. According to reports, the cruise ship arrived at the Daikoku Pier in Yokohama Port on February 6, and although it left briefly, it stopped intermittently until March 25, during which passengers and crew were disembarked and the ship was disinfected.

The Yokohama City Government stated that the cruise had slowly departed from Daikoku Pier at about 2 pm local time on the 25th local time, and arrived at a dock owned by a nearby private enterprise about 30 minutes later, in view of the completion of related work.

The shipping company to which the cruise line belongs stated that it will replace the cabin mattresses and other items in the next period, and plans to resume operation in May.

According to the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as of the 24th, there were 712 confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia on the "Diamond Princess", of which 10 died.

On January 20, the cruise ship "Diamond Princess" departed from Yokohama, Japan. Later, due to a new crown pneumonia epidemic on the ship, she was forced to stop her trip and returned to Yokohama Port on February 3. On February 5, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced that all personnel on board the cruise ship need to be isolated at sea for 14 days.
